I love NFL football! Let me count the ways

As far as I’m concerned, there are two seasons in America (who cares what the meteorologist says!). There is the football season and the low season. Then there is everything else in between.

Why do I say such a ridiculous thing?

Because I “my die-hard soccer fan!

Hell, I love everything, as long as it’s an oblong-shaped ball, played on a 120-yard long field, and involves Blocking and Tackling, I totally agree.

But as long as I live, there will be Never Let any game be as exciting and majestic as NFL Football. There’s a reason the National Football League is the most popular sport in the US – because it’s for the best!

But I know: you want to be convinced.

Penalty fee. I will convince you with three reasons.

1) Soccer adapts to our lifestyle. Don’t get me wrong, I like other sports too. But have you ever been watching a baseball or basketball game that started at 10pm? Look, I enjoy competition as much as any other guy, but I have to go to work in the morning!

And I know Prime Time Football can be late too (for those of us on the East Coast), but at least most of the games are played on Sundays. And that’s key, because most people don’t go to school and work on Sundays. Big Win in my book.

two) The NFL shows The Game at its highest level. Look, I know there are many people who argue with me that Pro is better than University (yes, that is an argument for another time). And that’s okay.

But no one can tell me that better athletic feats are showcased every week than at The Football Field. The jaw-dropping catches, crushing shots, and very fine plays in Offense, Defense, and Special Teams of all kinds.

I have no idea how officials can get most of their calls right in real time. Even in super duper slow motion replays, it’s hard to tell whether a player’s toes are touching the white stripe or not.

How can you not appreciate that athleticism?

3) Every game is so important. Weekly preparation for Sunday is an incredible crescendo for the Kickoff. And whether it’s Week 4 or Week 14, each game feels like a must-have event to win.

Just think, when your favorite team drops 4 in a row, that means they haven’t won. in a month! And because so few games are played, the importance and magnitude of that week’s ball game is greater than life.

Okay, maybe it looks like that to me.

And that’s the beauty of it. There really is nothing in the world like soccer.
