Are these signs that my wife is depressed? How to know if his wife suffers from depression

Has your wife been acting different lately? Is she she being lazy? to mean? Too quiet? When you ask yourself, “Are these signs that my wife is depressed?” the answer isn’t always clear. Here are some ways to tell if her wife is depressed and some things she can do to help her.

Many people think that a depressed person has to be sad all the time or angry all the time. That is not true at all. Depression does not affect everyone equally.

Constant sadness is definitely a sign that your wife is depressed. While it is normal for a person to be sad from time to time, it is NOT normal for them to be sad all the time.

If your wife is usually a nice and happy person most of the time, and has started being mean and hateful, or getting angry about what seems like nothing at all, then she’s probably depressed.

Keep in mind that these actions are NOT your wife’s fault, she doesn’t even know she is acting like this! Depending on the severity of the depression, she may know something isn’t quite right, but she doesn’t see the things you do.

Another sign that your wife is depressed is that she is tired all the time. Not just tired, but exhausted. All he wants to do is sleep.

Depression drains a person’s life. A truly depressed person does not want to do anything at all and has no energy to do anything. If his wife lies around all day, she’s not being lazy. It’s not that she’s not doing things on purpose; he knows it’s necessary to do them, but he just can’t muster the energy to do them.

The LAST thing you should do, if you see these signs of depression in your wife, is get mad at her or yell at her. Like you, she doesn’t understand what’s going on. He tries to talk to her. Tell her you’re worried about her.

Let her know that you love her and that you would like her to see a doctor. She may be sick, and when she gets treatment she will feel better. If she refuses, she tries to trick him. Tell her that YOU are sick and need to go to the doctor and that she would like you to come with you. So do what she can to get her to a doctor.

You don’t have to take her to a therapist. Her family doctor can prescribe medication to help her. Sometimes it’s easier to see your family doctor; that way, she won’t feel weird. She only goes to the doctor because she doesn’t feel well.

When you think you’re seeing signs of depression in your wife, don’t let her get too depressed. If she is depressed now, she may fall into a deeper depression soon and it will be twice as bad as now.

Do your best to help her by loving her. Understand that she does not intend to be like this: she is sick right now. Her marriage will see better days soon.
