ATVs – Military Grade
Well, obviously, our military has had a lot of success with ATVs in both the First and Second Gulf Wars. It caught our enemy off guard early in the war when our advancing ATVs were driving through the desert with US Marines, hitting the enemy so fast they didn’t know what was going on. Like today’s road warriors, our American military took the lead and the lead and never gave the enemy a break. It really ended that fast.
Thanks to modern all-terrain vehicles, the US military has gotten more aggressive and stronger as well. Polaris Industries has sold the latest round of ATVs to the US Army and is delivering 50 more units in this next set of high-performance battlespace rigs. These latter units will be used in the rugged terrain of places like Afghanistan and they work very well for that. They have also been deployed in Southwest Asia. Many big game hunters have chosen these off-road wonders as their vehicles of choice, which makes perfect sense as they are, in fact, incredible workhorses in every respect. Fortunately, they are also not used close to the fuel you might think of due to the large number of gears and gear ratios that are used. I myself am quite impressed.
Of course, no one really knows what happens to these 4X4 four wheel drive off-road rigs. One could imagine, special sensors, weapons and other secret things. Good to know that our US Army understands the value of ATVs and respects their agility, toughness, and performance. Consider this in 2006.
