New Zealand accommodations offer spectacular autumn views

Autumn, or autumn, begins to show its beautiful face in early April. The trees wear bright new outfits of vibrant reds, yellows and browns. The sun is still hot, but the afternoons cool down. The sunrises become more spectacular due to the morning mists that cover the valleys and watercourses.

New Zealand is famous for its stunning scenery. Boutique and luxury accommodations have been carefully placed to capture spectacular views and display them in all their glory for visiting guests. At no time of the year is this more evident than in April and May.

Wood fire season also begins at the end of April. If you’re staying in a lodge, pre-dinner drinks and hors d’oeuvres are likely to move from the patio to the lounge, where the fire roars and new acquaintances are made as guests get to know one another. others and share their background, their travels and their experiences. New Zealand wines are offered and enjoyed, including Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noirs from Central Otago, Martinborough and Canterbury, and Syrah, Bordeaux-style reds and Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay. Accompanying the wines, expect to enjoy some gourmet appetizers. New Zealanders are proud of their wine and cuisine which, combined with the magnificent views and generous hospitality, exemplify the New Zealand accommodation experience.

All the activities New Zealand is famous for can still be enjoyed during April and May, with the exception of swimming, unless you’re a brave soul from cooler weather. In the central North Island region, autumn visitors enjoy exploring the many geothermal parks, walking along river, lake and mountain trails, including many options in the world heritage Tongariro National Park, fly fishing and boat fishing, cruises on lakes and rivers, visits to the thermal spa, rafting, motor boat rides and, for the more adventurous, skydiving and bungee jumping.

Another benefit of traveling in New Zealand in the autumn is that you don’t need to book accommodation in advance, which means you’ll have more flexibility in your travel plans. This is because the high tourist season ends at the beginning of April. Daytime temperatures are warm (usually 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit, 15-20 degrees Celsius), fall colors are gorgeous, and all the attractions and activities you want to enjoy are less crowded, which means a more relaxing trip through our beautiful land.
