Age of Conan – Tips for new players, tricks and secrets to level up!
Some Age of Conan tips and tricks for new players. I had a hard time when I first started playing the game, so here are some tips I put together to help new players.
1.) The first time you gain control of your new character, turn completely (180 degrees) and swim towards the large reef you see. Directly ahead is a secret chest that usually contains a magic ring that will add 0.5% to your fire resistance level.
2.) Then instead of going right towards the cute girl in front of you, turn left and continue down the beach. There will be some cool alligators to kill, which is good practice.
3.) If you go around to the right you will eventually hit some rogues and then some alligators. There is an alligator boss who drops a human body part. I’m not sure what it can be used for, but it’s great. He also keeps a chest, which can also contain a magic ring with more levels of bonus fire.
4.) After saving the pretty girl, go to the left and find the mini-boss who drops a weapon… he also keeps another chest which may have another magic ring.
5.) You get the key to the White Sands Mausoleum, along with a gun, from the blacksmith outside who broke your chains. Bring him some metal from the docks to get the key.
6.) When you finally get to Old Tarantia, swim under the boat and you’ll find a treasure chest hidden underwater near one end of the boat. You can have level 20 health plus some stamina potions.
