The Ultimate Guide to Picking Up Asian Women
Since learning how to meet and attract women, I’ve generally found that ‘fresh off the boat’ (FOB for short) Asian women play by slightly different rules. So during my time ‘in the game’ I figured out what those differences were and took advantage of them. This guide will tell you everything she needs to know about flirting with FOB Asian women, but keep in mind that she is still just a guide. There is no point if you don’t take action and try.
We will first divide Asian women into three categories: Chinese, Japanese and Korean. To the untrained eye, all Asian women are the same and respond to a Western man’s advances in the same way. However, based on my extensive experience, I have discovered that there are some nuances that make a difference in your ability to meet and attract her.
So let’s take a look at the different categories.
Chinese
If you meet them under “normal” circumstances, for example at work, through friends, or some other “normal” means of communication, meeting and befriending them is simple.
However, if we are talking about cold approach on the street or in the club, then it is a very different story. What you need to know about the Chinese is that, of all the Asian countries, they are the most closed to meeting new people; especially foreigners. If you really want to meet Chinese girls in a club or a mall, you will play a numbers game, no matter how good you are. However, don’t let that stop you from trying.
Typical Chinese girls are very conservative, but that differs where they originally grew up in China. Here is a list of different places in China, from the most conservative to the least:
- General mainland China (the further west you go, the more conservative)
- Carry off
- Hong Kong
- Macau
- Taiwan
Japanese
While many ‘overseas’ Japanese seem very meek and shy to others, they are the country that defines Asian women’s obsession with white men, not Korea or China.
Japanese women are really fascinated by Western men and, in my experience, are extremely receptive to their advances. Realize that unlike Chinese or Korean women, they won’t reject you if they don’t like you. Sometimes it may seem like they like you, but in fact you may be wasting your time simply because they’re too polite to say they’re not interested.
That said, Japanese women are still very friendly and very open to meeting new people.
Korean
Korean women are very similar to Japanese women, but the biggest difference is that they are not going to go after you just because you are Western.
Notes: Please keep in mind that just like in Western culture, every girl is different and does not fit into a uniform mold.

If you have experience with picking up girls in general, picking up Asian women is the same concept, but be aware of a few differences.
A lesson in sincerity
A great foundation that you must apply to flirting with Asian women is to be sincere.
Sincerity is arguably the most important concept when it comes to successfully picking up girls, but it applies 100 times over to Asian women. Sincerity is basically being 100% consistent with how you feel at any given moment. Don’t try to act cold, over the top, or even confident, especially if you don’t feel like it.
Actually, this is just a repetition of the ‘be yourself’ cliché.
Something you can do is this; When you’re trying to pick up an Asian girl and you’re feeling a little nervous, say “sorry I’m a little nervous; I’m not good at this” or “I know I’m a little shy but I think ‘I’d like to get to know you better. We should have coffee sometime.”
You might be worried that an Asian girl won’t like an insecure jerk, but an insecure jerk who acts 100% himself is more likely to get the girl than the braggart, overly macho, arrogant guy. Every time your friends or mom or sister told you to “just be yourself,” every time you told them about your girl problems, they weren’t trying to sidetrack you, it’s actually solid advice.

Another thing to keep in mind is that Asian women are naturally more shy and introverted than Western women.
When we Westerners walk into a club full of other Westerners, it’s natural to act more alpha, more dominant, and more confident because that’s what Western women respond to.
However, doing this with Asian women is going too far. Talk to her like you would talk to a 4 year old. In general, you are very nice and do your best to make her feel comfortable with you.
Be the ‘BFG’ (aka the big friendly giant)
I’m not just referring to your physical size but also your beauty, general level of coolness, and even your level of English.
I never see cool handsome western guys holding hands with shy nerdy Chinese girls, however I see nerdy skinny western guys with them.
What does this tell you?
Do you have to be shy, insecure and nerdy to get these girls? No, just try to tone down your natural confidence and realize that these girls respond differently than the western girls you are used to dating. Be meek, pretend to be a little shy and even a little cheesy at times. Don’t be condescending though, otherwise you’ll come across as creepy.
Just try to level out her shyness as much as possible.
