Two Easy and Tasty Indian Sweet Dishes

We all love sweet dishes and saving dessert after our meal is a must. To make a perfect sweet dish, we need to work hard. We don’t even know that we can make the best sweets with the existing ingredients in our kitchen.

So here are two more easy candy recipes using existing ingredients in your kitchen:

kalakand

Ingredients:

Cottage cheese: 500 g

Condensed Milk: 400gm

Powdered milk: 2 tablespoons.

Cardamom powder: ¼ tsp.

Almonds and Pistachio: 15-20 (to decorate)

Process:

First, grate the cheese and lightly crush it with a spoon. In a non-stick pan, add the cheese, condensed milk, and powdered milk respectively. Do not turn on the stove before mixing the ingredients. Mix the ingredients correctly. Once everything is well combined, turn on the stove and put it on medium heat and cook this mixture. The mixture will stick to the pan. But as it cooks, it will thicken and start to ooze out of the pan. When it thickens and doesn’t stick to the pan, it will slide smoothly on the surface of the pan. Now turn off the heat and add cardamom powder. Then give a nice, final mix. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and allow it to cool slightly. Meanwhile, take a tray covered with oiled paper. Once the mixture has cooled slightly, transfer it to the tray. Spread it evenly on the tray, press it down from all sides and level the surface. Sprinkle the finely chopped pistachio and almonds evenly. Press them so they stick to the mixture. Place this in the refrigerator for 30 to 45 minutes. Once ready, remove the block from the tray and cut into squares. So your Kalakand is ready.

piece of milk

Ingredients:

Powdered milk: 1 cup

Condensed Milk: ½ cup

Saffron milk: 3-4 tablespoons.

Cardamom powder: ¼ tsp.

Butter: 15-20g

Laminated almonds: 8-10

Process:

Heat a nonstick skillet over very low heat. Then add the butter and let it melt completely. Once the butter is melted, add the dry milk and mix. After a while, add the condensed milk and mix until everything is well combined. Then add the saffron milk and again give a good mix. The mixture will be thin and will start to stick to the pan. Turn the flame to medium and cook this stirring constantly. After a few minutes the mixture will thicken and then start to flow out of the pan. Turn off the heat and then add cardamom powder and give a final mix. Transfer the mixture to a plate and allow to cool slightly. While the mixture is still hot, take a small amount of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Then gently press down to make the Pedas. Place an almond slice and just push it in. Do the same with the rest. So your dessert is ready.
