Warcraft Millionaire – Grinding Guide
I hate grinding
I personally hate grinding. But I guess, to some extent, playing World of Warcraft is a must; There’s no way to avoid it. I was working my way up when I first started. Truth be told though, if you’re not working at the level cap, you’re not using the most efficient method. If you’re not at the level cap, you want to get there as quickly as possible.
However, for everyone’s benefit and for completeness, I’ll cover grinding at low levels. You’ll need to spend a good chunk of your time going out and killing mobs for a few hours if you want to get your materials, gold, experience, or whatever you’re looking for. However, if you know where to look, what items to try and get, and how much time to spend in each area, you can drastically cut down on the time you spend grinding and how boring the whole process becomes.
What you are going to grind
For the most part, the rest of the guides you’ve gotten have gone over exactly what you need to grind for and how much time you need to spend grinding to get them. However, there are many more things you can keep an eye on, including things that can change over time and become more valuable. These items are always fluctuating, but one thing stays the same; people want them and they are hard to come by. If you can meet that demand, you can earn a lot of gold in the process.
Toiletries
The vanity item has no other purpose than to look good on a player. Things like rare pets, shirts, and seasonal items are fun little easter eggs that most players are willing to spend a large sum of gold to get, and if you can farm them, you can cash in on that demand. You’ll find a full list of the various rare pets you can farm in the Warcraft Millionaire Gold Crafting Guide. Here are a few more things to keep in mind that will earn you a nice profit:
Adventure Hat Style
These hats are a great source of income for skinners and leatherworkers, both because of the ingredients needed to make them and the price at which the hats can be sold. You’ll need to look for the pattern-dropping mobs for this in the Durholde Keep (see the Warcraft Millionaire guide for more on other vanity hats and where the patterns drop) and it’s a Bind on Pickup drop, so you personally have what to go find it, but if you do get one, it’s worth it.

Primal Life x8
x4 Zhevra Leather
Rune Thread x3
With the exception of Zhevra Leather (which can still be found in The Barrens quite easily), most of these materials are fairly rare and hard-to-find drops that will either take you some time or cost some money to acquire. However, the change in the hat is much greater because of it.
the orb of deception
This item is very popular and can earn you a large sum of money if you know how to use it correctly. The item also doesn’t drop in Outland, so the price only increased further. The best mobs to try to farm the item though are Razza and Skarr the Unbreakable. These rare spawns are found within Dire Mauls Arena and will not be around often, but they do drop at a rate of 6.2% and 10%. Even if you wait around 6 hours fighting mobs around the area, you will get your money back if you get the orb drop. You can see your chat screen and both mobs will start yelling when they have spawned. The current price for this item on the auction house is well over 500 gold, so be sure to grab it while you can.
sale set
If you can sell items that help people complete a set (or better yet, an entire set), you can make incredible profits.
Things like the Twill Set or any of the class sets in the game will sell for huge profits (you can sell the very easy to farm Twill Set for 42 gold with the shovel). The only problem with these is that you can’t list them for auction, you have to list them directly to players in the trade channel. However, if you can make these sets, you will be very successful.
Who wouldn’t want to look like a pirate or have a tuxedo in the game? They will pay a lot to do it.
Blood Elf Bandit Mask
This vanity item is huge right now because it’s hard to farm and can be used by any class or faction right now. However, it’s all a skin and without stats, it’s a pure blob of vanity. However, if you can get one, it sells for more than 50 gold. To farm this item, just find Blood Elf Bandits and farm them for a while – the drop rate is very low, but the mobs are incredibly easy, so it shouldn’t be too difficult.
shirts
Undershirts are another great toiletries item. Tailors can easily make a good amount of money from these, as they are cheap to make and sell for a lot of gold. You can even sometimes find them at vendors for a relatively low price. Also, tailors use them to level up, so you can buy them really cheap on the auction house most of the time if you know where to look.
