World Almanac Book of Facts – Definitive Reference for the Serious Thought Leader

Checking the facts is essential and knowing that most of these facts are all in one place, a place you can trust is priceless. Whether you are a writer, teacher, or just doing research, as a student you will need practical factual reference books. This is what I have to back up what I write, and I would recommend the same for anyone who is really serious about getting information right the first time.

That is why I advise you to get an extremely easy to navigate and comprehensive current almanac. The one I am currently using and would definitely recommend is:

“The World Almanac Fact Book 2008” Published by World Almanac Books, 2008.

When this Almanac says World, it refers to world information, historical events, dates, times, places, people and sports data as well. This book will tell you which nations have raw materials, how many, and where they are located. Interested in industry, mining, agriculture, transportation, populations, ethnic and religious breakdowns, it’s all there and more, more data than a person would need or care to know. It’s like a mini-wiki-pedia in book form and it’s very easy to browse and browse.

Over the years I have built my reference library and have had several almanacs from different companies and this is my favorite. If you go and take a look at one at the bookstore, I’m sure you’ll see why. Plus, the information is fully up to date at the time of printing, such as world leaders, limit changes, and current events. I would recommend this almanac; The World Almanac for anyone.
